Pete’s Half Marathon!

The amazing Pete will be running the Liverpool half marathon on 2nd April. He will be raising money for Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe.

Pete and Debbie adopted Ollie from DRUE. His family had been shut in a shed for his entire life and were all close to death. DRUE got him and brought him over to England from Serbia and Debbie and Pete adopted him. He was 10 months old and only 16kg when they got him… a bag of bones. He’s now 38kg and a happy, bouncy doberboy who has brought so much fun into their lives.

From Debbie: Ollie is ģoing on training runs with Pete but he will not be allowed to run on the day.The people at DRUE work tirelessly to rescue and rehome dogs from all over the place. Every dog they get is fully vet checked and the most appropriate home found. They are now a registered charity. Even though we officially adopted Ollie they have continued to support us and kept in touch. DRUE are like one big family.
Every penny raised will go to them to help with vets fees. One of the dogs recently rescued has had a paw amputated and will need a prosthetic leg from a specialist vet. This will cost close to £10,000.
Any amount of money you can spare will be gratefully appreciated so even if its only £1 please donate.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and big thanks for your donation.
